4D running shoes
makes running shoes with light and oxygen. It sounds like science fiction - but that's the bottom of Adidas's latest new running shoes. Futurecraft 4D is the first high performance running shoe manufactured using the technology known as the Digital Light Synthesis (digital Guang Hecheng).
, the technology, was completed by Adidas in collaboration with a company called CARBON, a technology company that pioneered new manufacturing technologies through hardware, software and molecular science. According to a statement released by Adidas pointed out that the technology is the use of "digital light processing (digital light projection) and oxygen (oxygen-permeable Optics) and optical programmable liquid resin (programmable liquid resin) to form Futurecraft 4D running shoes in the bottom.
The
technology helps Adidas move further towards its goal of providing customized physical shoes for personal data and customer needs.
CARBON co-founder and CEO Joseph - de Simon says: "despite the impact of technology changes the other aspects of our life, but for thousands of years, the manufacturing process still follows the same form 4 - design, setting, production tools, steps of product development cycle. CARBON has changed this; we have broken this cycle, making it possible to go directly from design to production."
Adidas spent 17 years collecting data from real runners to create Futurecraft 4D running shoes. The running shoes are designed to combine sports, cushioning, stability, and comfort. The goal is to make the ultimate running shoes for everyone".
Futurecraft 4D running shoes will be launched this month, but the number will be very limited; only 300 pairs will be offered to the brand's friends and family. Adidas hopes to offer 5000 pairs for retail sales in the 2017 autumn and winter, and will offer 100000 pairs by the end of 2018. No pricing information has yet been provided.
